Senior Site Engineer

3–4 Months (Short-Term Contract)

ICDS are seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer to oversee the completion of an additional residential development consisting of approximately 60 housing units at the Kilmeaden site. This role will focus on ensuring works are completed safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate site activities to ensure efficient delivery of construction works.

• Set out, level, and survey the site in accordance with design drawings.

• Supervise subcontractors and ensure adherence to project specifications and safety standards.

• Manage quality control and maintain accurate site records, including as-built documentation.

• Liaise with the Project Manager, Design Team, and Client Representatives as required.

• Monitor progress and assist in planning and sequencing works to meet key milestones.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements on site.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years’ site engineering experience, ideally on residential or housing projects.

• Strong setting-out experience using modern instruments (e.g., Total Station, GPS).

• Excellent technical and communication skills.

• Proven ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams.

• Full driving licence and own transport.

Package:

• Competitive rate commensurate with experience.

• Short-term contract (3–4 months) with potential for extension or redeployment on other projects.
