Senior Software Engineer (C#) - North Dublin.

Our client seeks a candidate with a proven track record in software development, system integration and on-time product delivery. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively and in a systematic fashion with other Engineering functions (e.g. Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Mechanical, Electrical, Firmware, System Integration) to deliver high-end innovative product solutions at pace. The role involves working on a wide range of diverse cross-functional projects related to supporting test/result processing, real-time interfacing and local diagnostic user-interfaces within innovative software solutions.

The critical skills we are seeking:
• Proven experience in the design and development of high quality software solutions.
• Must have experience in complex software development within a high performing software team.
• It would be advantageous to have the following software experience:
o Highly concurrent task-based solutions incorporating resource prediction and fault tolerance and asynchronous method invocation.
o Strong programming skills (C#, .NET) and a firm understanding of related architectural issues.
o Demonstrable experience in: .Net Remoting, WCF and/or Grpc based communication.
o Demonstrable experience in unit testing approaches.
o User Interface Development.
o Database experience would be an advantage (SQLServer with stored procedures).

• Ability to translate customer needs and design input requirements into detailed architecture and design specifications, suitable for critical review by local and external teams.
• Use software engineering best practices to ensure a high standard of quality for all deliverables (Agile, SCRUM, GDP etc.)
• Participate in the development of testing strategies for all software releases (including unit testing and code reviews).
• Experience in Risk Analysis and Risk mitigation design and implementation would be an advantage.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline (Electronics / Software / Electrical / Mechatronic).
• At least 5 years’ relevant engineering experience in a high-performing software team.
