Service Engineer - Dublin/Leinster.
Our client specialises in the supply and maintenance of process instrumentation and environmental monitoring equipment in the Irish industrial market. We have been retained to recruit a instrument craftsman/technician to service and support an existing client base in the Leinster region.
Salary is negotiable and is commensurate with experience.
Training is provided both in-house and with UK suppliers.
Key Duties:
• Onsite maintenance and repair of electrical equipment, PLC based electrical control systems and instrumentation.
• Fault diagnostics and modification to existing electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Electrical and instrumentation equipment on-site commissioning.
• Carry out preventative maintenance schedules and modifications to existing sites as per Electrical Maintenance Supervisor / client requirements.
• Co-ordinate with electrical and mechanical personnel to achieve project deadlines.
• Generate maintenance documentation to meet project specifications.
• Work closely with operations and controls staff to ensure effective and continuous operation of relevant processes as per the project specifications.
• Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with the company procedures observing proper health and safety.
Skills/ Experience requirements for this role:
• Motivated self-starter with excellent communications skills
• Minimum 5 years' electrical experience in a process commissioning role or similar.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience within the water / wastewater industry an advantage, but not essential
• Experience with AutoCAD or other drawing package an advantage, not essentiak
• We seek a punctual, motivated, and organised self-starter who is enthusiastic and conscientious about completing work on time and to a high standard.
• Full clean driving license.
Must hold National Craft Certificate in Electrical and/or Instrumentation or equivalent.
