Junior/Mid level Software Engineer, Co. Kildare

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our team. As a Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and testing software components for advanced visual inspection systems, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including Computer Vision and Deep Learning engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize your expertise in C++ and Python programming languages, with a focus on Embedded Systems and Linux environments.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions.
• Comprehend and articulate intricate concepts effectively.
• Prioritize and manage a diverse range of projects, tasks, and activities, ensuring timely integration and completion.
• Demonstrate integrity in handling confidential and sensitive information.

Requirements:

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in C++ and Linux OS.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Adaptability to changing project requirements and priorities.
• Only candidates with current valid work permits to work in Ireland will be considered. The successful candidate(s) must be available to work at the company office in Naas, Co. Kildare. Please note that this is NOT a hybrid working role.

Preferred Knowledge:

• Experience with Python programming using OpenCV and Deep Learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc).
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and principles.
• Understanding of object-oriented design principles.
• Knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
