We are currently seeking a proactive and safety-focused Traffic Management Coordinator to oversee the implementation of traffic control measures for roadworks and infrastructure projects. This key role supports the planning and delivery of scheduled works by ensuring safe and efficient traffic flow on public roads.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate, install, maintain, and remove temporary traffic management systems
Conduct risk assessments and prepare method statements for traffic control activities
Monitor, record, and report on traffic management operations
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and traffic regulations
Work closely with site teams, contractors, and local stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
Previous experience in traffic management or a similar role
Full, clean driving licence
Strong understanding of health and safety requirements
Desirable:
Qualification in Traffic Management (e.g. SLG, TTMO, or equivalent)
Category E driving licence (support and training provided if not currently held)
Personal Attributes:
Flexible, hands-on approach
Physically fit and capable of meeting on-site demands
