Registered Nurse

Role Summary:

We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse with an active NMBI PIN to join our caring team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will provide high-quality clinical care, support healthcare assistants, and ensure the physical and emotional wellbeing of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide and supervise person-centred nursing care to residents.
• Administer medication safely and maintain accurate records.
• Liaise effectively with GPs, families, and the wider care team.
• Ensure compliance with HIQA standards and nursing home policies.
• Support and mentor healthcare assistants and new staff.
• Promote a positive and homely atmosphere within the nursing home.

Requirements:

• Active NMBI registration/PIN (essential).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a caring and supportive team.
• Previous experience in elderly care (desirable but not essential).
• Compassionate, professional, and dedicated to high-quality care.
