Bring energy, knowledge, innovation to carry out the following:
- Lead and support the Microbiology laboratory team, guiding key activities like laboratory start-up, new product introduction, and quality control testing.
- Drive technical transfers, including method validation, contamination control, aseptic training, environmental monitoring, and product testing.
- Inspire and align your team with the company’s vision and goals.
- Foster collaboration, teamwork, and a culture of continuous improvement.
- Coach and mentor your team through complex challenges and problem-solving.
- Champion lean methodologies and change management to enhance processes.
- Promote a culture of safety where everyone takes ownership.
- Ensure quality compliance by embedding a “right first time” mindset.
What skills you will need:
In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have:
- A degree in Science, Quality, or a related technical field.
- Experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical industries with proven leadership in managing teams and laboratories.
- Strong knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), global regulations, and quality systems.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proactive, flexible, and logical thinking with the ability to thrive under pressure.
- A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to manage priorities and escalate issues when needed.
- Familiarity with quality management tools, process controls, and improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma.
