We are looking for a dedicated Senior Electric Engineer to ensure the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of all utility electrical systems at our site. You will play a critical role in managing these systems to deliver reliable electricity supply to all users without interruptions. Your focus will be on maintaining compliance with safety standards and promoting operational excellence and continuous improvement within our Engineering team.

- Collaborate with the engineering team to support site operations.
- Oversee electrical systems and resolve issues promptly while ensuring compliance.
- Manage the operational and capital budget for electrical systems.
- Participate in preventive maintenance activities for power supply and distribution systems.
- Handle the design, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in electrical automation and process control.
- Assist in automation projects from user requirement specification to commissioning and qualification.
- Review and approve modifications and standard operating procedures for electrical systems.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance and reliability of electrical equipment and systems.
- Support various departments on electrical projects, ensuring alignment with specifications, budgets, and engineering designs.
- Be adaptable and ready to take on additional tasks as needed.
- Act as a role model in upholding our corporate values and culture.
What skills you will need:
In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have:
- Degree (or equivalent) with a minimum of 8+ years of experience in electrical instrumentation.
- Strong knowledge of variable frequency drives, soft starters and motor control.
- Proficient in electrical load calculations, components configuration, and preventive maintenance across various equipment.
- Familiar with safety, good manufacturing practices, and environmental regulations.
- Knowledge of instrumentation, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and alternating current systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD software.
- Mastery of power supply systems and skilled in managing electrical system modifications.
