Dublin City Council as a Planning Authority is responsible for the orderly development of the city and through the Land Use Policy and Development Management Sections of the Planning and Property Development Department, it provides the policies, plans and procedures to achieve a sustainable living City, in which people can live, work and form communities.
An opportunity now exists in Dublin City Council for the position of Dublin City Planning Officer.
The position of Dublin City Planning Officer is pivotal in the City Council and the holder of the post will play a vital role in the orderly development of the City. Reporting to the Chief Executive, or such person as may be designated from time to time, the Dublin City Planning Officer will form part of the Department’s Senior Management Team. They will lead and manage a team of professionals and will have specific delegatory responsibilities and functions.
