We are currently recruiting an experienced Bar Manager to join a prominent 4* Hotel in Cork City. The role will require the effective and efficient management of all Hotel Bar Food and Beverage business and coordinating all day to day activities in the Hotel during service.
Requirements
· Experience in managing Food and high volume Beverage operations in the Hotel Bars
· Candidates need experience managing private Events, Weddings, Conferences, lunches, Private Dinners etc.
· Management experience in Rostering, Purchasing, ordering, stocks, Tills and cash management needed,
· Must display effective leadership and team management abilities
· Reliable, committed, motivated and above all professional person
· A positive attitude, a “can do” approach, an approachable style
· 3+ years Bar / Beverage Management experience in 4/5* Hotel in Ireland preferred,
· Work Permit is not available for this role, full legal status to work in Ireland is required.
Responsibilities
· Manage daily operations and coordinating all aspets of the hotel Bar service
· Lead and guide the team as required during service / shift
· Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene prevail
· Observe all shift and opening / closing procedures
· Provide leadership and facilitate a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all
