Breakfast Chef
We are currently recruiting experienced Breakfast Chef for 4* Hotel in Cork City. Ideal candidates has minimum 2 years experience in a similar role in 4/5* Hotel.
Your Job:
- Assist the Head Chef / Sous Chef with the overall running of the kitchen.
- Take responsibility for preparation and service of Breakfast and lunch daily
- Take direction from department managers and assist in the monitoring of food quality and hygiene standards.
- Follow the kitchen systems and procedures for excellence and efficiency.
- Adhere to HACCP regulations at all times
- Support your fellow kitchen staff in observing appropriate systems of hygiene during food preparation and storage.
- This is a fulltime role on 5/7 day rostered basis, schedule includes early morning shifts and working weekends.
What You'll Need:
- Have previous experience working within 4/5* hotels in a similar role.
- Have a passion for and genuine interest in food.
- Have a mature and pleasant manner for dealing with customers and team members.
- Be a team player.
- Be able to work under pressure in a busy kitchen and to strict timelines
- Have good knowledge of HACCP procedures and regulations.
- Applicants require current legal status to live and work in Ireland
