Meeting & Events Sales Manager 4* Hotel Cork

We have a superb opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager - Meetings and Events to join a leading 4* Hotel in Cork and support the Sales & Marketing function by developing sales and marketing activities in this key sector. Key Focus will be to meet company targets for growth and profitability. Key Clients will be in Conference, Events, Meetings and Business community in the region.

• Develop opportunities to increase sales and conversions within the property, schedule Events to maximise yield, Focus on up-selling approach.
• Build strong relationships with M&E customers to fully understand their needs and specific requirements of each contract,
• Arrange and carry out Hotel show rounds and site visits,
• Ensure the complete administration and execution of all planned events,
• Participate in hotel promotional activities etc.
• The ideal candidate will be professionally qualified in Sales & Marketing must have previous 4* Hotel Sales experience in a similar position
• Will be able to demonstrate success and experience interfacing with major account customers and managing large contracts.
• Experience in similar market segment locally required
• The candidate should possess a high level of organisational and administration skills, display positive attitude and good communication skills.
• Track record of commitment to delivering a high level of customer service, a high level of IT skills and excellent presentation standards.
