Reservations Executive 4* Hotel East Cork

We are current recruiting experienced Reservations Executive for a 4* Hotel in East Cork

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily reservation operations, ensuring seamless guest experiences from booking to check-in
• Manage room allocations, pricing strategies, and availability to maximize occupancy and revenue.
• Monitor and manage online booking platforms and direct booking websites.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by promptly addressing guest inquiries and requests.
• Collaborate with the front office manager and team to optimize room sales and revenue management.
• Ensure accurate recording and communication of booking details with relevant departments.
• Responsibility for both individual and group bookings
• Performing regular checks on future individual & group bookings
• Working with the Sales team to identify leads and pass to the appropriate sales person
• Manage No-show and cancellation reservations & process charges according to hotel policy
• Compile weekly/monthly/annual reports in line with the hotel requirements
• To constantly liaise with housekeeping department to ensure all guests request are actioned

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Reservations Supervisor or similar role, in a busy 4* hotel
• Proficient with systems like Hotsoft/Channel Manager Systems and the GDS
• Experience in revenue management practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
• Passionate about hospitality and committed to delivering a superior guest experience.
• Fluent English both spoken and written.
• Applicants require curent legal status to live and work in Ireland without restrictions

Working Hours:

This role requires flexibility with daily 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday – occasional Saturday shifts will be required
