Restaurant Manager 4* Hotel Waterford

We are currently recruiting an experienced Restaurant Manager for a busy 4* Hotel in Waterford. You are responsible for the efficient management of all Restaurant operations and Private Dining business and coordinating all day to day food service activities in the Hotel. Restaurant is open for Breakfast and Dinner daily for Guests and caters for many private Dinners, Conference Lunches, Graduations, Sunday Lunch and special Events.

Requirements

· Experience in managing a busy 4/5* Hotel Restaurant Outlet, InRoom service, Private functions and Dining Events

· Candidates need experience managing busy service periods to the highest standards and attention to detail

· Front of House experience required to offer colleagues assistance in this area as required

· Must display effective leadership and team management / development abilities

· Reliable, committed, motivated and above all professional person required

· A positive attitude, a “can do” approach, friendly and outgoing personality

· Minimum 3 years Restaurant Management experience required, ideally in a full service 4* Hotel.

· Work Permit is not available for this role, current legal status to work in Ireland is required.

· Fluent English and excellent IT/admin skills required

Responsibilities of the Restaurant Manager

· Manage daily operations and coordinating all Food service activities of the hotel Restaurant

· Lead and guide the team as required during service periods / Duty shift

· Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene prevail

· Observe all shift and opening / closing procedures adhering to all Company guidelines

· Duty Management / Banquet Management experience would be of benefit,
