We are currently recruiting Sales / Business Development Manager for 4* Hotel in Limerick
- The Sales Manager is responsible for managing all Sales and Business Development for the Hotel. They are responsible for planning and executing sales product development programs that will meet pre-determined targets and increase our market share.
- The Sales Manager is responsibel for identifying key markets, staying in tune of emerging trends. Their duties include identifying new sales opportunities, meeting sales targets, and developing relationships within the local Business and Leisure community to strengthen and expand customer base for sales opportunities
- Initialize and implement annual sales plans for the Hotel in conjunction with the General Manager, plans and examine the trends and outcomes that emerge from these implementations
- Put in place clear business plans for Key Account development and a clear sales strategy to cover key contracts and reviewed on an ongoing basis
- Introduce new business with client’s contacts and through sales initiatives.
- Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings for Rooms and meeting spaces.
- Identifies new business opportunities to achieve revenue goals for Food and Beverage.
- Plan time effectively to meet call mix targets with both cold calling/prospecting and current clients
- Candidates proven track record in Sales Management in a prominent 4* Hotel Sector
- You will require proven ability to develop, manage and implement strategy and plans
- Thorough understanding of the importance of customer experience and uncompromising standards of excellence
- Enthusiastic and creative personality required
- Strong organisational, strategic planning, negotiation and presentation skills
- Proactive disposition – anticipation of challenges and mitigation of risks
- Great communication skills – ability to clearly communicate with suppliers, management and staff across a variety of nationalities and experience levels
- Be energetic, friendly, approachable, professional, courteous and become a fantastic ambassador for the Busines
- Understands the overall market - competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand etc. and knows how to sell against them.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience in Tablepaths, Hotsoft, Volante or similar advantageous
- Analytic ability, number-oriented individuals with a well-developed business sense.
