Sales Executive – 4* Hotel Cork

Our Client has an excellent opportunity for an experienced and energetic Hotel Sales Professional who is passionate about hospitality to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a proven background within a similar 4* hotel environment and experience in all areas including Domestic, Corporate, Conference, MICE and Leisure market sales. This role will suit an ambitious Sales professional who is looking to grow their career through working in a learning environment that is focusing on optimising it’s team for the re-building of the tourism industry in Ireland.

The candidate will have:

· Minimum of 1 years’ Hotel sales experience in a target-driven sales environment.

· A 3rd level qualification in a business discipline.

· A 3rd level qualification specifically in Sales, Marketing or Hotel Management would be an advantage

· Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office Packages, CRM systems and ideally using hotel property management systems

· Experience working in a team environment

· Commercial awareness and a good understanding of corporate rate management and sales distribution channels

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with clients and with colleagues plus ability to produce written reports.

· Fluency in written and verbal English

· Excellent levels of personal motivation and confidence

· Own Transport

The candidate will be:

· Responsible for the ongoing planning, development, and implementation of the Sales Activity Plan

· Sales focused, with targets and results being key driving factors.

· A self-starter and possess a strong ability to close sales opportunities.

· Able to respond in a dynamic environment

· A good organiser who seeks out challenges and is driven by success.
