Financial Accountant

Join a leading global organisation based in Dublin 2 as a Financial Accountant. This is a permanent position with a hybrid working model: 2 days in the Dublin office and 3 days remotely each week. This is an excellent opportunity for a Qualified Accountant eager to transition from practice (Big 4 or Top 10d) and gain valuable experience in commercial finance and financial accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on annual budgets and quarterly re-forecasts.
• Provide financial management support to the local team.
• Assist in bill production, ensuring compliance with local legal and tax regulations.
• Analyse credit notes and conduct root cause analysis.
• Ensure accurate posting of all accounting transactions.
• Aid in the production of local management accounts alongside the finance team.
• Contribute to the completion of the annual group consolidation pack.
• Monthly reconciliation of key balance sheet accounts and inter-firm balances.
• Execute the Monthly Internal Controls Checklist and quarterly Tax Checklist.
• Assist in compliance with local statutory reporting requirements.
• Coordinate with local tax advisors and the central tax team on tax returns and payments.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Accountant, ACA or ACCA, preferably practice-trained.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Self-motivated and proactive.
