HR Generalist
You will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of the HR department. This position involves a wide range of responsibilities related to HR service delivery; engagement, ER/IR, people development, performance management, talent management, etc. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of core HR processes, Employment Legislation and excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting into the SR HR Business Partner you will manage and support on employee relations, disciplinary and grievance procedures as they arise
- Support and coordinate any third-party negotiations
- Drive and support employee engagement activities to foster a positive work environment.
- Promote a positive workplace culture and foster strong working relationships
- Drive, develop and refine standardised HR life cycle processes
- Support HR Business Partnering on strategic projects and initiatives
- Develop close working relationships with management team and gain an understanding of their teams to advise appropriately
- Where required advise managers and assist with implementing performance improvement plans
- Ensure all team members receive an excellent on-boarding experience
- Provide support on all talent matters in relation to, talent management programs, performance management, succession planning, coaching, training, career development and diversity and inclusion initiatives
- To provide the business partners with support in managing reward and recognition programmes
- Keep current on best practice human resources & maintain industry networks to broaden experience to help drive continuous improvement within HR delivery.
Experience & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar HR role
- Strong employee relations / industrial relations support experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
