HR Manager
Sanderson is partnering with its renewable energy client to recruit an HR Manager for a 12 Month Contract. You will function as a key member of the Leadership Team which develops and implements the strategic direction for the Business. You will lead, drive, and enhance a wide range of HR initiatives with the main objective of building and developing a positive culture and people development. This position offers flexible hybrid working and is based on site two days per week.
Core Duties:
- Lead on IR/ER initiatives proactively and positively manage the relationship with Unions and Joint Industrial Relations Council
- Oversee the effective management and resolution of all employee & industrial relations Main point of contact for all union engagement
- Manage day-to-day HR services, work collaboratively with the Leadership Team to enhance business performance, business operations and commercial success.
- Provide coaching and expertise on a range of complex, sensitive people related issues.
- Lead workforce planning working closely with the business by conducting detailed gap analysis and executing effective plans to meet the transition and future needs business, to include rightsizing / outplacement and recruitment & retention
- Develop succession plans and supports to ensure a strong leadership pipeline
- Identify the capabilities required to achieve business success. Design and implement interventions to bridge any gaps
- Work closely with head office to ensure alignment of policies, programmes, and initiatives in the areas of ED&I, Heath & Wellbeing, Reward and Performance Management and Succession Planning are implemented consistently
- Proactively use the Performance Management process to support resource planning within your team and the wider organisation
Skills and Experience:
- Strong Industrial Relations, Employee Relations experience
- Previous experience in a unionised environment
- Change Management and Communications Expertise
- Degree in Human Resources or related discipline CIPD desirable
- Experience working as part of a senior management team delivering business strategy
