HR Project Consultant
Sanderson is recruiting for a permanent HR Project Consultant to support our client's new People Operating Model responsible for co-ordinating and leading the successful delivery of HR Projects that support the business strategy and drive transformation.
Role Summary
Working with the Strategic People Partners (HRBPs) and Centres of Excellence to conduct research, you will collect and analyse data to identify issues, provide advice, and work with the team to develop and implement innovative and pragmatic solutions to solve business problems that have measurable impact and add commercial value.
Core Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders and coordinate across different groups.
- Lead, design and deliver People projects and change in partnership with the business to ensure continuous improvement and value add.
- Manage and track the project plan, actions, risks, dependencies.
- Collaborate with Strategic People Partners to scope key projects and manage delivery.
- Responsible for effective project controls and procedures within their given initiatives.
- Develop collaborative relationships and ensure feedback on progress, milestones and blockers to the Strategic People Partners and Head of People Strategy, Projects and Transformation and key stakeholders so they're fully engaged in outcomes and progress of the project.
- Produce and deliver relevant presentation packs for Key Stakeholders.
- Deliver project communications inspiring people to come on the journey.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to the business on People policies, processes & procedures.
- Analyse HR MI and recommend provide solutions (e.g. data on turnover, headcount, discipline and grievance, performance management, absence, reward)
Skills/Experience/Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in HR with at least 2 years in a management role, operating in a business partner model
- Degree or equivalent in relevant field, and/or HR qualification such as CIPD
- Knowledge of current HR practice and employee legislation and its implications for the business.
- Familiar with Project Management methodologies.
- Experience of leadership, management and delivering complex change/transformation projects on-time, within scope of financial savings and positive HR experience.
- A commercially aware and customer centric individual who actively seeks customer feedback to monitor progress & make improvements
- Ability to develop strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
- You'll work at least 40% of the time away from home, at one of our office locations Dublin Derry or Belfast.
