IT Transportation Management Systems Specialist (TMS) - Kildare
Sanderson is working with a global technology company and they're looking for an IT transportation management systems specialist to join their team. The right candidate will have great experience with transport management system software(TMS). This person will support the IT TMS manager while also playing an important role within a larger team.
Job responsibilities

• Master the Transportation Management System (TMS) to effectively articulate and document business processes for the team's benefit.
• Proactively identify opportunities to streamline existing processes within the TMS, implementing improvements as applicable and beneficial to both the process and the team.
• Collaborate with colleagues to address business challenges through software solutions.
• Innovate new processes and procedures to support the ongoing evolution of the TMS, informed by analysis of the status quo and business challenges.
• Provide training and support to colleagues on the implementation of new processes and procedures, facilitating knowledge transfer and user confidence.
• Work with the data analytics team to develop reports measuring the success of business processes and identifying areas for improvement.
• Perform operational tasks related to the TMS, including performance tuning, security measures, and data backup.
• Develop Process Flows tailored to business needs.

Must have:

• A Bachelor's degree in IT Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role
• Proven analytical thinking skills and the ability to abstract complex concepts.
• Experience utilising problem-solving abilities to enhance operational processes.
• Proficiency in programming, with familiarity in SQL and various data management and analysis tools.
