In this key role as Procurement Category Lead, you will manage 3rd party Service Providers to support business needs & will be responsible for end to end sourcing & onboarding activities across various categories of spend, using best practice category management processes to deliver value & savings stakeholders.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing relationships with 3rd Party Suppliers, Legal, Compliance, Risk, IT Security Build & foster relationships with key business stakeholders internally
- Lead delivery of the end-to-end execution of procurement process in line with company, a vendor risk framework and the CBI regulatory requirements.
- Lead RFx projects & subsequent Contract & Supplier negotiations, including commercial terms to secure the best value
- Negotiate & implement contracts for a variety of goods & services across a broad range of categories, & ensure compliance to the agreed service, performance, quality & delivery levels.
- Manage Supplier Relationships ensuring compliance to agreed service levels, performance quality & commercial terms.
- Analyse annual spend detail & identify cost savings opportunities
- Develop tools to support the Procurement team in analysing data & reporting tools for communicating with stakeholders
Qualifications
- 3-5 years Procurement experience (essential) preferably in a Financial Services organisation
- CIPS / IIPMM qualified (desirable)
- Proficient with MS Suite - Excel, PowerPoint, Word
- Ability to execute projects from beginning to end with emphasis on attention to detail is key in this role
- Experience in summarising & presenting scope of work & supplier selection solutions to key stakeholders
- Experience in executing RFx documentation & building scoring matrices
- Ability to influence stakeholders & 3rd parties
- Strong people & stakeholder management skills & a consistent record of building strong internal business relationships at all levels
- Excellent business acumen & analytic capability
- Ability to work on own initiative
