Accounts Assistant – Legal Sector Experience Essential
Dublin 4 | Up to €56,000 + Benefits | Hybrid Working After Probation
Our client, a highly regarded professional services organisation based in Dublin 4, is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their finance team.
Please note: Previous experience working within the legal sector is an absolute requirement for this role. Candidates without legal industry accounting experience will not be considered.
This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who has gained exposure to a busy legal finance environment and is looking to develop their career within a supportive and collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the preparation of management accounts
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processing
- Performing daily and monthly bank reconciliations
- Supporting month-end close activities
- Processing financial transactions accurately and efficiently
- Assisting with financial reporting and analysis
- Liaising with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with company procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a legal firm or legal services environment is essential
- Strong exposure to accounts preparation
- Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Proven experience completing bank reconciliations
- Exposure to month-end processes and reporting
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
