About Your New Job
- As a Technical Sales Business Development Manager your job will be to ensure face-to-face customer contact is maintained with key existing and prospective customers in the commercial sector for all brands.
- Manage relationships with sub-contractors and key personnel in the distribution sector to ensure commercial projects are won by supporting specifications as well as discretional business.
- Identify new market opportunities and feedback market intelligence to the business.
- Help formulate and deliver regular CPD presentations.
- Update CRM daily with project tracking information, customer call details, and demonstrate effective diary management aligned with the rating and ranking report for the area.
What Skills You Need
- 3+ yearsProven experience in External Sales / Business Development within the Construction Materials Supply Sector.
- Ability to develop technical knowledge of products quickly.
- Strong relationship-building skills with clients at all levels.
- Experience in fire protection, acoustic/thermal insulation materials, and facades is beneficial but not essential.
