About Your New Job as an Associate Quality Manager:

  • Guide, coach, direct, and develop direct reports to achieve organizational goals.
  • Ensure adherence to the Quality Policy and regulatory requirements, maintaining an effective quality system.
  • Assure appropriate resources are maintained for Quality System compliance.
  • Select appropriate techniques for problem-solving and make consistent Engineering and Quality Assurance recommendations.
  • Make decisions related to product quality, including the disposition of non-conforming products.
  • Promote the highest level of professional QA Engineering discipline and rigor.
  • Be a leader in QSR, ISO/MDD standards and stay updated with best industry practices.
  • Champion continuous improvement and innovation from a quality perspective within the department.
  • Provide technical guidance to Quality Engineers and Quality Technicians.
  • Monitor progress toward departmental goals and manage costs of projects and resources.
  • Evaluate performance and assist in career development planning for subordinates
  • Interview and recruit new team members as needed.

What Skills You Need

  • Bachelor Degree Level 8 (240 credits) in Engineering, Sciences, or equivalent experience.
  • 5-8 years of Quality Assurance/Engineering experience in the Medical Device/Combination Product industry.
  • Experience with new product introduction and project management is advantageous.
  • Strong work ethic, positive mentality, and ability to work well in a team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent stakeholder management.
  • Strong understanding of product design.
  • Experience in people management is advantageous.
