About Your New Job
As a BIM Technician, you’ll play a key role in supporting live projects by producing and maintaining accurate mechanical BIM models. Working primarily in Revit, you’ll assist with coordination, detailed layouts and construction-level drawings, ensuring models reflect design intent and site requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Key duties include:
Producing and updating mechanical BIM models using Revit
Preparing coordinated layouts, spool drawings and fabrication-level details
Supporting clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination
Updating models in line with RFIs, design changes and site feedback
Assisting with as-built documentation and handover deliverables
What You’ll Need
Diploma or degree in BIM, Building Services, Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Strong working knowledge of Revit within an MEP or building services environment
Understanding of mechanical systems such as HVAC, pipework and plant rooms
Experience supporting commercial or large-scale construction projects
Ability to work closely with engineers, site teams and external consultants
Desirable:
Navisworks experience
Previous site exposure
Familiarity with BIM Execution Plans and common data environments
