About Your New Job

• You will be responsible for operating, monitoring, maintaining, and responding to abnormal conditions in facilities systems.
• Participate in a six-member on-call rota to ensure continuous operation of critical systems.
• Complete planned and ad-hoc preventive maintenance work assignments across various engineering, mechanical, and maintenance trades.
• Rapidly respond to, investigate, and manage emergency situations to ensure the safety and functionality of the facility.
• Create, close, and track work orders, ensuring timely follow-up and verification of work completion.
• Monitor performance and note deficiencies of service contractors, recommending changes as necessary.

What Skills You Need

• QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft - Electrical
•  Experience in the operation, installation, and maintenance of data center critical equipment and building systems.
• In-depth understanding of electrical and HVAC systems, including feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS systems, ATS/STS units, PDU/PMM units, chillers, air handling units, CRAC units, fire/life safety, and control systems.
• Good observation skills and the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems effectively.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Experience working in GMP, healthcare, data centers, or cleanrooms.
• Safety Regulations: Knowledge of safety regulations such as OSHA, HSE, or equivalent.
• Critical Systems Support: Experience supporting critical systems such as UPS, generators, clean utilities, or lab environments.
