About Your New Job
- Maintenance and Operations: Provide electrical and controls support as part of the maintenance and operations team, ensuring compliance with SLAs, SOPs, and GxP requirements.
- Preventative and Corrective Maintenance: Carry out routine preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance work to meet service level agreements and respond to emergency breakdowns.
- System Operation: Ensure correct and effective operation of electrical and control systems on site and at other locations.
- Communication and Liaison: Communicate with end users/customers to determine requirements in a respectful, proactive, and professional manner.
- Supply Management: Specify and order supplies or materials as needed, develop standardized PM structures, and monitor changes required.
- Electrical Maintenance: Perform routine planned electrical maintenance tasks, including PAT testing, IR surveying, continuity testing, lighting checks, breaker testing, repairs, and maintenance.
- Project Management: Complete small electrical and controls projects from planning to commissioning, including ordering parts, installation, testing, and documentation.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all health, safety, and environmental requirements are fulfilled prior to work commencement and that safe systems of work are adhered to.
- Documentation and CMMS: Update and utilize site CMMS systems for recording work activities and ensure documentation adheres to GxP requirements.
- Site Cleanliness: Assist in keeping buildings and work areas clean and tidy, adopting a right-first-time attitude and continuous improvement policy.
What Skills You Need
- Driving License: Full clean driving license.
- Industry Experience: Strong work experience in a large multinational industry.
- CMMS Experience: Proficiency in using CMMS systems.
- Building Services: Experience in building services.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- PC Literacy: Proficiency in using PCs.
- Trade Skills: Mechanical or electrical trade qualifications.
