About Your New Job
- Maintenance Operations: Undertake the operation, planned preventative maintenance, and repair of the plant and services within the Campus, following a shift work pattern.
- Routine Inspections and Repairs: Conduct regular checks, readings, and routine inspections, and carry out minor works and repairs on building fabric as required.
- Sub-Contractor Management: Assist and manage sub-contractors in relation to maintenance works, ensuring all work is carried out safely and in accordance with company procedures.
- Service Requests and System Monitoring: Efficiently complete service requests generated by the helpdesk and monitor the BMS system for alarms.
- Documentation and Stock Management: Create method statements and risk assessments, maintain stock levels, and complete service reports and data entry on the CMMS system.
What Skills You Need
- Essential Qualifications: Electrical – National Craft Certificate (Junior & Senior Trades or equivalent), working knowledge of RECI regulations, Fire Alarm, Access systems, BMS, HVAC Systems, and Refrigeration Systems.
- Experience: Essential experience in mains supply & distribution (LV/ MV/HV), LV and HV AP training to City & Guilds standard, LV and HV switching experience preferred, experience in thermographic surveying, and PAT Testing experience.
- Additional Training: Permit to work training, ISOH, Safe Pass, Water Management experience, Environmental awareness, confined space training, and working at heights experience.
