My client have a Financial Controller role available for a qualified accountant with at least3 years within a finance manager/ financial controller role based in D2. This is a new company that is growing at a very fast rate so an excellant opportunity to get in at the early stages when they are growing and doing very well. To eb suitable you must have worked in a similar company and been involved in raising capital/ investment, build relationships with banks and set up financial controls, improved finance - tis exposure is a must have so please dont apply without it
About Your New Job
- Responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Finance office
- Have responsibility for accurate accounting records and provide financial reports for the Group.
- Review the Balance Sheet, ensuring reconciliations are performed of all controlled accounts and that all balances are explained.
- Drive accountability for controls
- Continual review and development of best practice Financial Accounting and Control procedures
- Ensure compliance with Policies and Procedures.
- Management of all Financial queries from internal and external parties
- Assist with the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Oversee and review the income audit daily/weekly.
- Oversee and review the reconciliation of bank account on a weekly basis.
- Prepare and file VAT returns as required.
- Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets, monthly and weekly forecasts.
- Management of the weekly and monthly payroll including analysis and control.
- Implementation of various cost control measures and overhead management.
- Rasing Investment for future growth
What Skills You Need
- Qualified Accountant with an SME background – at least 2 years at Financial Control Level
- Involved in start up company where you were involved in raising investment / capital
- Strong relationships with banks etc
- Mergers exposure
- Worked in a company experiencing high growth
