Finance Manager Financial Services

My client within the Investment banking Industry that is newly set up in Dublin have a requirement for a qualified accountant coming from Investment banking - this industry experience is a must only apply if you have this

About Your New Job  

• Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
  • Prepare journal entries
  • Complete general ledger operations
  • Review expense reports for accuracy and compliance with expense policy
  • Monthly closings and preparation of monthly reports
  • Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts
  • Prepare analysis of accounts as requested
  • Oversee accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses
  • Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures
  • Compile information for year-end and mid-year budgets and prepare variance analysis
  • Provide information for the preparation of various regulatory and tax returns
  • Provide information for several year-end audits

REQUIREMENTS  

• Qualified Accountant with 1-2 years PQE 
• Financial Services exp – ideally within Investment banking
• Strong US GAAP, IFRS
• Please note you must have a valid visa to work in Ireland sponsorship isnt provided
