Your New Role
Your new job, as a Site Foreperson will be responsible for supervising and managing on-site operations for a high-profile fit-out project in the city centre. This large commercial fit-out for a global financial client offers a fantastic opportunity work on a landmark project. You will be responsible for ensuring the project is completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards of quality, while liaising with the project managers, clients, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities In Your New Job:
- Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the on-site team, including tradespeople and subcontractors.
- Ensure that work is completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety standards and building regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to ensure high-quality workmanship and compliance with specifications.
- Maintain a strong focus on health and safety, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel on-site.
- Report project progress, issues, and any potential delays to the Project Manager in a timely manner.
- Coordinate material deliveries and site logistics to ensure smooth workflow and minimise delays.
What Skills You Need For This Job
- Proven experience as a Foreman in the fit-out or construction industry, ideally with experience on large, high-profile projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building regulations, and health & safety standards.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Valid CSCS card and relevant qualifications (e.g., SMSTS, First Aid) are desirable.
