Head of Finance - Tech Start Up - North Dublin

My client a high growth company have a requirement for an FD to join the senior management team and manage all aspects of finance . To be suitable you must be an ambitious Financial Controller who is keen to step up to Finance Director, be confident to manage all aspects of finance and be part of the senior management team. You will have a strong International finance background, and have worked within a start up environment or been in a company experiencing high growth

This role is office based in West Dublin

About Your New Job

• Full responsibility for month-end close, monthly management accounts, and statutory reporting
• Oversight of payroll, banking, credit cards, and expenses
• Cashflow management and treasury
• Tax compliance (VAT, PAYE, corporation tax) and audit management
• Managing and developing a small finance team (currently c.3.5 people) – head of finance, finance operations, tax, treasury.
• Setting clear priorities and ways of working
• Providing practical, clear financial input to support rapid operational growth
• Ensuring financial discipline keeps pace with expansion, including international activity
• Improving processes where needed, without over-complicating or slowing the business
• Acting as a trusted, steady presence for the CEO/founder and senior leadership

What skills you need

• Qualified Accountant with at least 6 years pqe
• Strong International finance background – managing finance for multiple entities
• Start up exposure / working within a high growth company
• Staff management exposure
• Must be coming from a Tech start up environment

Salary 150k with benefits
