About Your New Job

  • You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the Group Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Management System.
  • Ensure compliance with EHS legislation across all Ireland and UK sites, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Embed a positive EHS culture throughout the organisation by developing and reviewing H&S policies, procedures, and safe systems of work.
  • Coordinate and conduct risk assessments, inspections, and audits to ensure safety standards are met.
  • Oversee contractors to ensure compliance with safety standards and develop engaging H&S training materials for employees.

What Skills You Need

  • Educational Background: Degree (Level 7 or higher) in Occupational Safety and Health or a related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Certifications: QQI Manual Handling Instructor certification (advantageous) and Occupational First Aid certification (desirable).
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant H&S IT systems.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise effectively. Self-motivated and proactive with a commitment to continuous improvement.
