About Your New Job
- Validation & Compliance: As the HVAC/Projects Engineer, you will perform validation of fume cupboards, Class 1 & Class 2 microbiological safety cabinets, pharmaceutical isolators, and laminar airflow booths/benches. You will also conduct Air Cleanliness Classification assessments for cleanrooms, identify non-compliance issues, diagnose root causes, and implement effective corrective actions for clients.
- HVAC Installation & Commissioning: You will install and integrity test HEPA filters, small ducted systems, and commission HVAC systems including air handling units (AHUs), air, water, and process exhaust systems. Additionally, you will support the installation and functional testing of humidification/de-humidification systems and process exhaust scrubbers.
- HVAC System Maintenance & Mechanical Work: Your responsibilities will include providing mechanical maintenance for critical HVAC equipment such as AHUs, humidifiers, de-humidifiers, fan bearings, and process exhaust scrubbers. You will carry out preventative and corrective maintenance tasks in line with quality and safety standards and optimize system performance for energy efficiency.
- Technical Documentation & Drawings: You will perform HVAC system surveys and develop technical drawings.
What Skills You Need
- Qualifications & Professional Background: A relevant technical qualification in Engineering, Building Services, Refrigeration, Project Management, or a similar field is preferred. Experience in HVAC, mechanical, building services, or related environments is essential, along with a willingness to learn and develop.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of HVAC systems, controls, and mechanical installations.
