Complaints Officer

This role is based in Galway City with generous hybrid working on offer.

About Your New Job

  • As a Complaint Officer, you will independently manage and resolve both straightforward and complex customer complaints within a small close knit Complaints Team.
  • You will investigate issues by thoroughly reviewing call recordings, provider records, and internal case notes.
  • You will evaluate disputes, communicate decisions with empathy, and maintain accurate complaint records.
  • You will implement corrective actions, conduct root cause  analyses, and make recommendations for process improvements and training.
  • You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders.

What Skills You Need

  • An up to date APA accreditation is essential and a CIP accreditation is an advantage.
  • Experience delivering exceptional customer experiences in a regulated environment. This could be in either Insurance or in other areas of Finance.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complaints confidently and work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
