About Your New Job
- Maintain up-to-date and precise records of stock levels, incoming and outgoing shipments, and returns.
- Partner with internal teams such as logistics, procurement, and sales to balance stock availability with demand.
- Carry out scheduled inventory counts to verify data accuracy against actual stock.
- Design and apply procedures to maintain inventory accuracy and minimize shrinkage.
- Analyse data and trends to project future inventory requirements.
- Document and manage defective stock, including coordinating repairs or appropriate disposal.
- Investigate and correct inconsistencies between recorded and actual stock quantities.
- Coordinate with supply and distribution teams to enhance inventory flow and reduce delays.
- Use digital inventory systems to track, analyse, and report on stock movement across the organization.
What Skills You Need
- Studies in logistics, supply chain, business operations, or an equivalent discipline.
- 2 to 5 years in roles related to inventory, logistics, warehouse operations, or supply management.
- Skilled in enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and inventory tracking tools.
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel and general office software.
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, with a strong analytical mindset.
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities; team player with interpersonal ease.
- Familiar with methodologies like cycle counts and ABC classification for inventory optimization.
