Job Title: Materials Program Leader
Contract type: Permanent

Hours: 8.30 – 5.00pm mon – thurs, 8.30-4.00pm fri (39 hour week)

Salary: €45-€55,000

Hybrid working after 6 months.

Job Functions & Responsibilities:

The function of the Materials Programs Leader is to efficiently lead and motivate a team who manage Material Programs in house.

4-5 years experience of working in an Aviation material trader industry or similar would be highly beneficial, ideally in a sales environment.

The team administers the IT based selling platform. Creating and delivering on new leads. Embellishing relationships with customers and suppliers.

The Key job responsibilities include:

  • Lead, manage, and support the materials team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Monitor team performance, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
  • Manage Purchasing, Sales and Stock of material.
  • Support with the identification of opportunities with new products.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve programs to help create new revenue streams.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the team and the solutions provided.
  • Roll out the Materials program strategy to optimise growth.



The ideal candidate must be capable of understanding customer needs and take a proactive approach to meeting Material Programs requirements.

  • Third level education in Business, Management, or related field.
  • Knowledge of a MRO business.
  • 5+ years in a material trading position.
  • Entrepreneurial outlook.
  • Ability to travel and attend Trade Shows.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using MS Office and ERP software.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data.
