About Your New Role
They are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Team Lead to manage the mechanical maintenance operations across a multi-site portfolio based in North Dublin City. This hands-on role combines people management, technical leadership, contractor oversight and client-facing responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of 5 mechanical maintenance technicians, including performance management and KPI delivery.
- Supervise on-site contractors to ensure works meet technical, quality and health & safety standards.
- Act as the primary technical escalation point for clients, coordinating issue resolution across sites.
- Work closely with Service Desk and Planned Maintenance teams to optimise workflows and service delivery.
- Provide hands-on technical support and leadership for complex mechanical and building services issues.
- Carry out technical site inspections, assessments and surveys, producing scopes and quotations.
- Manage costs, value engineering and technical risk assessments for maintenance and project works.
- Implement energy efficiency initiatives across mechanical systems.
- Develop and maintain method statements and technical documentation.
- Identify and implement continuous improvements in service delivery.
- Participate in flexible working arrangements and an on-call rota.
What You Need
- Relevant mechanical trade qualification. (Essential)
- Strong experience in mechanical facilities management.
- Excellent client-facing communication skills.
- Experience preparing costs, proposals and detailed scopes of work.
- Strong understanding of compliance, health & safety and regulatory requirements.
