About the Company
A Global Healthcare company is looking for a Production Operator-II to join their Carlow site on a 11-month contract due to continued growth and expansion. You will be a part of an empowered team who support the manufacturing process and ensure a dependable product supply.
About your new job as a Production Operator
- Operate and monitor production activities and equipment using MES/DCS and PLC systems to ensure optimal uptime and output. Equipment includes washers, autoclaves, portable tanks, vial washers, debaggers, and filling machines.
- Perform clean room cleaning, housekeeping, and materials management, focusing on continuous improvement with Lean Principles.
- Manage equipment flow, including tracking hold times, labelling, and inventory of sterile equipment using MES systems.
- Maintain process equipment, including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs within qualifications.
- Contribute to writing, revising, and implementing operational procedures and training materials. Support continuous improvement through investigations, change controls, and Kaizen events. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Comply with company global policies, procedures, guidelines, and cGMP in daily activities.
- Promote a safe and compliant culture.
What skill/experience you need as a Production Operator
- Leaving Certificate or equivalent required
- Apprenticeship, Certificate or Diploma preferred
- Expertise in sterile finning process and equipment
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for Irish, European, and international standards.
- Proficiency in writing reports, standards, and policies.
- Troubleshooting skills
