About your new role
Currently recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to join their Commercial Team, based at our Head Office in Balbriggan, Co. Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your career by playing a key role in the commercial management of our projects, from pre-contract stage through to final account close-out.
In this role, you will be responsible for all commercial management activities across multiple projects, working closely with project teams, main contractors, and our supply chain, while promoting a positive approach to Health, Safety, and Environmental practices.
What you will need
- A recognised qualification accredited by RICS, CIOB, or IEI
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar Quantity Surveyor role
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, including subcontract agreements, bonds, guarantees, warranties, and insurances
- Working knowledge of the Construction Contracts Act 2013
- Experience in:
- Commercial management from pre-contract to final account
- Budget preparation, cost analysis, and commercial reporting
- Interim valuations and subcontract administration
- Ability to read and interrogate 3D models, complex drawings, and specifications
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
