Senior Accountant North Dublin

My client based in North Dublin have a requirement for a qualified accountant with strong financial and management accounts prep 

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for the preparation, analysis, and presentation of accurate financial and management information reports.

About Your New Job

• Prepare management accounts and all reporting of the same 
• Prepare VAT returns and assist with tax compliance.
• Reconcile bank accounts on a daily basis and manage cash flow effectively.
• Liaise with external auditors during the annual audit process.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure all payroll taxes and deductions are calculated correctly and remitted timely.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results to senior management, Board of Directors and external stakeholders and regulators.
• Liaise with external auditors during the annual audit process.
• Monitor changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring the company's financial practices remain compliant.
• Participate in special projects and initiatives as required, including system implementations and process improvements

What skills you need

• Qualified Accountant with 2 years or more pqe
• Strong excel skills
