Senior Client Accountant - Investments 75k

My client based in Dublin 2 have a requirement for a Top 20 trained accountant who has gone into a group accountant role within property or the investment area 

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for the preparation, analysis, and presentation of accurate financial and management information reports. You MUST BE fully qualified ACA/ ACCA or CIMA to be suitable for this role

About Your New Job

• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• All month end financial and management accounting duties 
• Prepare VAT returns and assist with tax compliance.
• Reconcile bank accounts on a daily basis and manage cash flow effectively.
• Liaise with external auditors during the annual audit process.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Process payroll for all staff accurately and on
• Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with all payroll-related regulations.
• Handle payroll queries and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
• Ensure all payroll taxes and deductions are calculated correctly and remitted timely.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results to senior management, Board of Directors and external stakeholders and regulators.
• Liaise with external auditors during the annual audit process.
• Monitor changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring the company's financial practices remain compliant.
• Participate in special projects and initiatives as required, including system implementations and process improvements.

What skills you need

• Qualified Accountant with 2 years or more pqe
• Strong accounts prep 
• Strong excel skills
• Coming from the property or the investment Industry
