My client based in Dublin South  that are growing have a new requirement for a qualified accountant.

About Your New Job

• Assisting the Financial Controller in the preparation of accounts and all other finance duties 
• Responsibility for the initial preparation of monthly management accounts, full analysis of KPI’s and commentary on results against budget and prior periods for review by Financial Controller.
• Responsibility for the control of costs and for measuring department performance v budget.
• Assisting the Financial Controller in the provision of up to date, relevant financial analysis on an ad hoc and regular basis
• Direct responsibility for the management of all tax compliance requirements
• Responsibility for the maintenance of all finance process documents,
• Assisting the Financial Controller in the overview and operation of the monthly invoicing process ensuring pre-set targets for accuracy and timeliness are met.
• Responsibility for the maintenance of good working relationships with all key partners in areas such as investment, banking, legal, audit, taxation etc.
• Responsibility for the monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.

What skills you need

• Qualified Accountant with 4 years or more pqe
• Strong month end and reporting exposure
• Must be coming from Industry - not considering candidates directly from practice 
• Qualified accountant from SME 
• Strong process improvement or projects exposure - automation, implementation of  new systems - this must be evident on cv 
• Consolidations exposure - prior exposure working within a group accounting role
