About Your New Job
External Financial Management & Operational Leadership
- Oversee compliance, reporting, and operational accounting tied to external stakeholders.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing and payment of PAYE, VAT, RCT/CIS, Intrastat for Ireland & UK.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and uphold standards.
- Ensure intercompany transactions are recorded, reconciled, and reported accurately.
- Compile, review, and present quarterly consolidated reports for head office.
- Ensure data accuracy, timely submission, and alignment with corporate reporting standards.
- Lead and coordinate Irish and UK audit processes.
- Oversee AP and AR processing across multiple entities and currencies.
- Track and analyse monthly cost of goods sold (COGS), raw material usage, waste, and margin.
- Assist the HR/Factory Manager in overseeing time tracking, attendance, and shift planning processes.
- Lead preparation of short- and long-term cash flow forecasts.
- Manage a 5-person finance operations team, split across on-site and offshore locations.
Internal Financial Integration
- Integrate with internal project-specific financials for commercial decision-making.
- Work with commercial and construction teams to track real-time costs against budget.
- Assist in forward-looking revenue and margin forecasting.
- Analyse historic project margins and performance metrics to inform new bid pricing.
- Translate financial data into business insight.
What Skills You Need
- Essential Skills:
- Experience in financial reporting and compliance functions.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and internal controls.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and other computer systems.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
