About Your New Job

As the Senior R&D Engineering Manager, you will:

• Lead the R&D engineering team to execute critical development projects.
• Be accountable for the engineering staff in Galway, creating a high-performing team culture.
• Formulate partnerships with cross-functional Core Team members to foster collaboration and cross-functional effectiveness.
• Plan, direct, and coach team members, ensuring project success.
• This position is hybrid with a 4-day per week onsite requirement.

What Skills You Need

• Experience in the medical device market with a 5+ years catheter experience
• Level 8 Degree in Engineering or related discipline with 5 years relevant experience or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years prior relevant experience.
• Experience in people management of engineers including 1-1's, performance reviews, recruiting, disciplinaries, and career development.
• A dynamic team player and influencer who can work effectively and proactively on cross-functional teams.
• Excellent team building, communication, people management, and management skills.
• Extensive Program Management skills are a distinct advantage.
