The Work

As a Senior Recruitment Consultant, you will own and manage your desk within a supportive, high-trust environment, delivering quality recruitment solutions for leading clients.

• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for Construction & Engineering roles with multinational and local clients.
• Build and maintain long-term, consultative relationships with both clients and candidates.
• Focus on high-quality, partnership-led recruitment rather than transactional, volume-based activity or rigid call targets.
• Act as a trusted advisor, providing market insight, guidance, and solutions to hiring managers and candidates.
• Contribute to the team’s growth by bringing fresh ideas, driving initiatives, and helping to enhance Sigmar’s service offering.
• Use your autonomy and expertise to deliver impactful placements that support clients’ strategic business goals.

The Person

The ideal candidate is an experienced agency recruiter who thrives in a supportive, high-performing environment and is motivated by building lasting relationships and delivering great service.

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in agency recruitment, ideally within professional or technical disciplines.
• Proven ability to develop strong, trust-based relationships with clients and candidates.
• A consultative mindset, with a focus on quality, insight, and long-term partnership over short-term transactions.
• Ambition, resilience, and self-motivation, with the drive to accelerate your development in a higher-trust, high-support setting.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for problem solving and customer service.
• A genuine desire to build enduring client and candidate networks—and to enjoy the moment when you can tell someone they’ve secured a new role.
• Experience in Construction & Engineering recruitment or related sectors is an advantage but not essential.
