Senior Tax Accountant - Corp, RCT- D1

My client have a requirement for a qualified Tax Accountant to join their team. For this role you will need exposure to Irish Corporate tax, RCT, Stamp Duty and other property related tax

About Your New Job

• Ensure accurate and timely preparation, completion and filing of indirect and direct tax returns.
• Co-ordinate tax advisory for acquisitions, disposals and development projects.
• Provide tax advisory support to various business units within the company.
• Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives in tax reporting.
• Maintain and update tax records and documentation.
• Support audits and provide documentation and analysis as required.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and implement efficiencies.
• Liaise with external advisors to ensure compliance with local tax legislation.

What skills you need

• Professional qualification (e.g., Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA), ACA/ACCA) or currently pursuing.
• 2–4 years’ experience in tax (practice or industry), ideally with exposure to the Real Estate sector.
• Strong understanding of Irish tax legislation, especially in VAT.
• Familiarity with Real Estate tax issues such as capital allowances, stamp duty, and RCT is advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/tax software (e.g., Sage)
• Proficient in building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
