An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join a long-established and highly respected general building contractor. With a legacy spanning over 100 years, the company has successfully delivered more than 1,000 projects across a wide range of sectors including commercial, pharmaceutical, educational, healthcare, residential, and industrial.

Projects typically range in value from €5 million to €90 million, reflecting the company’s capability and commitment to delivering exceptional results. Operating across both traditional procurement and alternative models such as design & build and PPP, this organisation is a recognised leader in adapting to the needs of complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately set out and survey works on active construction sites
• Interpret project drawings and technical specifications
• Coordinate closely with project managers and subcontractors
• Ensure all works meet quality, safety, and compliance standards
• Maintain detailed records of setting out and as-built data

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction-related discipline
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar setting out role
• Proficient in using Total Station, GPS, and related equipment
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
• CSCS card or equivalent certification
