About Your New Job
As a Site Operative, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the facility, assisting with waste acceptance, equipment operation, and maintenance tasks. You’ll play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and site housekeeping, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Operate mobile and fixed plant equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with waste acceptance and processing, inspecting incoming materials for contamination.
• Monitor and operate SCADA systems to support process performance.
• Perform maintenance tasks, including preventative measures to keep machines in good working order.
• Support contractors working on-site and report any breakdowns promptly.
• Carry out weighbridge duties and oversee outgoing load dispatch.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards across the facility.

What Skills You Need
 Essential:

• Experience operating fixed and mobile plant equipment.
• Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and follow procedures.
• A proactive and hands-on approach to problem-solving.

 Desirable:

• Telehandler license.
• Experience with SCADA system operation.
• Knowledge of anaerobic digestion, biogas production, and waste processing.
